Tucked away in the rugged and lesser-known Southern Crete, Villa Eulimene offers a true haven, a place of beauty and profound stillness. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of the Libyan Sea, overlooking Aniforas Bay, you can hear the waves lapping below, and as Yeats wrote, peace will indeed “come dropping slow”. This Villa has a unique rhythm, its own wavelength. You can spend hours on the spacious terraces watching the soft grey mist at dawn, the vivid orange and pink sunset, or the brilliance of the star filled night. This is a place to create, to write your book, complete your thesis, or simply put the world on hold.
Relax. Reflect. Recharge.

Perhaps you’d like to know…
Eulimene is named for one of the sea nymph daughters of Nereus, the old man of the sea, and the oceanid, Doris. According to legend, Eulimene was the nymph of good harbor, offering safety, hospitality and protection after the trials of the journey. And a haven is what we offer you. Come stay with us and be inspired.
Surroundings
Many beaches and tavernas are available in the vicinity. The Agios Pavlos cove is just a five minute drive away, and Trio Petra and Agios Giorgos beaches require an additional 10 minute drive. The numerous restaurants in the area include Filemina where you can sip water from the natural spring on the premises, or the Sleepy Dragon cocktail bar and restaurant overlooking the bay. The vibrant, colorful village of Agia Galini is a 30 minute drive away and offers restaurants, shops, nightlife and a supermarket where you can stock up on your way to the Villa. Additional supermarkets are available in Tympaki, Mires or Spili depending on your route. There is also a colorful market on Friday mornings in Tympaki and Saturday mornings in Mires. Further suggestions for activities and day trips will happily be made by your hosts, however, due to scarce public transport you will need a car for the duration of your stay.
